Where these standards apply
Ons.Bio is a place to present yourself and help people find your work, interests, and communities. These guidelines support that purpose and form part of our Terms of service. They apply to profile names, usernames, biographies, images, link titles, destinations promoted through the service, visitor messages, uploaded fonts and other assets, and reports.
We distinguish context and good-faith expression from conduct that deceives, endangers, exploits, or targets others. Disagreement, criticism, and an unpopular opinion are not automatically abuse. At the same time, a joke, disclaimer, verified badge, or off-site link is not permission to violate another person’s rights or evade these standards.
Be clear and authentic
Do not impersonate another person, organization, or Ons.Bio representative. Do not use names, imagery, badges, or claims of affiliation in a way that is likely to deceive visitors. If you run a fan, commentary, or parody page, make its nature clear and do not use that label as cover for scams or harassment.
Describe links and offers accurately. Do not conceal a harmful destination behind misleading text, an unexpected redirect, or a counterfeit sign-in screen. A verification badge is administered by Ons.Bio and is not an endorsement of everything on a page. Visitors should still assess a destination before trusting it.
No scams, spam, or malicious links
Do not use Ons.Bio to steal credentials, solicit deceptive payments, distribute malware, or facilitate fraud. This includes fake giveaways, fraudulent investment claims, impersonated support accounts, and links designed to trick someone into disclosing security codes or installing harmful software.
Do not mass-send unwanted inbox messages, create coordinated spam pages, repeatedly submit duplicate or fabricated reports, or disguise automated activity as genuine engagement. Respect request limits and feature restrictions. Do not manipulate analytics through abusive traffic or interfere with another account’s availability.
Respect people and their safety
Threats, targeted harassment, stalking, intimidation, and encouragement of violence are not allowed. Do not coordinate attacks on a person or group, encourage self-harm, or publish instructions aimed at causing immediate harm. Do not target people with dehumanizing or discriminatory abuse based on protected characteristics.
Non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation, and any sexual exploitation or abuse of minors are prohibited, including links that facilitate access to such material. Do not upload, forward, or reproduce illegal material as evidence in a support message. Report the location and concern without distributing the material further.
Context matters when discussing difficult subjects, documenting wrongdoing, or seeking help. It does not excuse actionable threats, exploitation, or exposure of private information. If there is an immediate risk to someone’s safety, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service. Ons.Bio reports are not an emergency response channel.
Protect private information
Do not publish someone else’s home address, private contact details, credentials, financial records, private correspondence, or other sensitive information without an appropriate authorization or legal basis. Avoid exposing people to unwanted contact or revealing information to intimidate them. A piece of information being discoverable somewhere else does not automatically make its targeted redistribution appropriate.
Inbox messages are private to the recipient in the product, not public comments. Do not repost personal messages to shame, threaten, or expose the sender. An optional sender name is not verified. Do not use analytics timestamps and approximate locations to try to stalk visitors or make unsupported claims about their identities.
A public profile can be copied or shared, and changing it does not recall every copy. Think carefully before including information about children, family members, clients, or colleagues. Use the country-sharing setting if you do not want the signup country shown; that setting is distinct from visitor analytics.
Respect creative rights
Share only material you created or are entitled to use. Copyright, trademark, publicity, and other rights can apply to images, text, logos, recordings, and fonts. A font you downloaded or purchased for desktop use may need a different license for web display. Accurately declare your font-license category and keep any necessary permission records.
AI generation does not automatically clear third-party rights or make an output unique. Check generated imagery and text before publishing. Do not publish material that copies another creator’s work unlawfully, impersonates someone deceptively, or depicts harmful synthetic media involving a real person.
To raise an intellectual-property concern, send support the exact Ons.Bio page URL, a description of the disputed material, identification of the original work or right, your authority to act, and a contact method. Share enough information to assess the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. An unsupported allegation does not establish ownership or infringement.
Keep offers and promotions lawful
Do not promote illegal goods, services, or conduct through the platform. If you link to products, donations, memberships, or professional services, make relevant claims and disclosures accurately and comply with the requirements that apply to the offer. Do not misrepresent an outcome, hide a material relationship, or claim Ons.Bio has approved your business.
A link-in-bio page is not the same as a marketplace operated by Ons.Bio. Transactions at a destination website are governed by that provider’s arrangements. Visitors should not send payment details or authentication codes through a page inbox, and page owners must not solicit them there.
Use the tools responsibly
Do not bypass account restrictions, probe for other users’ private records, exploit upload endpoints, evade rate limits, or disrupt the service. Do not use assistant prompts or uploaded image instructions to seek unauthorized access, extract secrets, or cause actions on someone else’s account. Creating a second account to evade an enforcement decision is not an acceptable workaround.
If you discover a suspected security issue, stop testing before accessing or exposing other people’s information. Contact support with a concise description and the minimum non-sensitive evidence needed to reproduce the issue. Do not publish credentials, exploit private data, or pressure another user into granting access.
How to report a concern
Use the reporting option on the relevant public page where available. The current categories include spam or misleading links, scams or fraud, impersonation, harassment or hateful content, inappropriate or harmful content, intellectual-property violations, and other concerns. Select the reasons that actually apply and describe what happened. The form accepts a concise explanation; support email can provide a route for additional context or a page that is no longer reachable.
For an inbox issue, account concern, or anything not covered by the page-report flow, contact support@ons.bio. Include the page URL or account identifier, the approximate date, and a factual description. Do not click a suspicious destination solely to investigate it. Do not attach illegal material, passwords, or an entire private conversation when a narrow description will suffice.
Reports store the submitted details and an abuse-prevention identifier. They are not displayed as public comments. Avoid promising another person absolute anonymity: information may need to be handled for investigation or lawful disclosure, as explained in the Privacy policy. Do not coordinate false reports or use the reporting tool to silence lawful disagreement.
Review, action, and account restrictions
Reports are available to authorized administrators for review. A report alone does not establish a violation or automatically restrict an account. Review may consider the material, available context, severity, repetition, and applicable obligations. Current administrative tools allow reports to be marked reviewed or ignored and accounts to be restricted.
Depending on the issue and available tools, action may involve a request to correct content, reduced access, removal, or an account restriction. Serious safety, security, or legal concerns may require immediate action. A restricted account’s dashboard and public page or assets can become unavailable. Review is not a guarantee that every violation will be detected or that each reporter will receive detailed information about another account.
Enforcement is not a claim that our review is infallible. We may revisit a decision when material new information becomes available. Any notice, reasoning, or review rights required by applicable law continue to apply.
If you believe a decision is wrong
Contact support@ons.bio to request a review. Provide the affected account or page URL, the decision or restriction you are asking about, why you think it is mistaken, and relevant evidence that can be shared lawfully. Explain what has changed if you have corrected a problem. You do not need to send your password or create a new account to ask for review.
We may need to verify that you are authorized to discuss the affected account. A request does not guarantee reversal, and we do not promise a fixed turnaround for every case. Do not harass a reporter or administrator, flood the queue with duplicate requests, or evade restrictions while a review is pending. Legal rights to complain to a competent authority are not removed by this process.
Keeping these guidelines useful
These guidelines may develop as the platform and the risks around it change. The updated date identifies this version; material changes remain subject to any applicable notice obligations. Read them alongside the Terms of service and Privacy policy. If a situation is unclear, choose the safer course and ask support before publishing or sending the material.
